Grounding and why it is so important...

This is a crazy time on Planet Earth, if you have not already noticed. What a year 2020 has been , and we are only half way there! It is so important to ground your energy right now. But first , what is grounding and what do I mean? Grounding is to become fully present in your body, bringing your energy back and to become balanced. You know how sometimes if you have been really busy, you can feel kinda "spacy" and out of your body. This is what it feels like to be un-grounded, literally some of your energy is not in your body. Maybe you left a piece of it at work after a "shitty argument" with a colleague. Or perhaps you gained a piece of theirs after listening to office gossip all day long. Whatever the case, you are not aligned and in balance, and you feel crap.
The best way to start to ground and balance, is to stop, pause and take a few deep breaths in and out. If you can, place your hand on your stomach, or solar plexus chakra area and breath in and out deeply 3 times. Imagine there are roots coming out of the soles of your feet into the earth below, grounding you into the earth. If you can and ideal step would to be go outside and place your bare feet on the earth, but what I have mentioned does wonders.
So in this time of huge change and large influxes of energy to our planet as we go through this time in our history like no other, it is even more important to ground daily. You may even find you need to do this breathing technique several times throughout the day, just to keep your balance.
